A Space to Meet Yourself

At Journey In, we offer a grounded and welcoming space to reconnect with the simple aliveness that underlies all experience — through the sacred Iboga medicine, rooted in the Missoko Bwiti tradition of Gabon.

These retreats are simple by design — one guest at a time, held with care, clarity, and attention. â€‹No groups. No noise. No pressure. Just you, the medicine, and the space to listen.

Offering Rooted in Honesty and Lived Experience

What we share is born from lived experience — years of self-inquiry, honest reflection, and direct work with Iboga and other teachings that all point toward the same understanding.

About Iboga

The Teacher and The Healer

Iboga (Tabernanthe Iboga) is typically a small perennial shrub that can grow into a small tree, native to the tropical rainforests of West Central Africa, most commonly found in Gabon, Cameroon, and the Congo. For thousands of years, Iboga has been used as a sacred medicine for healing, self-discovery, and initiation into adulthood.

The Land

Retreats take place on thirty acres of quiet forest, gardens, and open space. A small lake sits nearby, with plenty of birds — loons, songbirds, and the wildlife that naturally lives here. Simple, comfortable accommodations support rest, reflection, and the deep inner work unfolding. Silence, nature, and spaciousness are part of the medicine.
